Who We Are
The New People’s Department exists to welcome those who are new to HICC and help them feel at home.
Coming to a church for the first time can feel like a big step, so this ministry helps create a warm and personal first experience where people feel noticed, valued and welcomed.
The team supports new people through greeting, conversation, check-ins and helping them understand how they can connect into the wider life of the church.
The department’s regular meeting pattern is still being established, but the team serves around Sunday church life and new visitor moments. Our heart is that every new person would know there is a place for them at HICC.
